Sleep Island uses motion sensors during sleep monitoring to estimate sleep patterns. Night Sounds is optional and requires separate microphone permission and consent. It processes and stores recordings on your phone. Sleep reports, recordings, favorites and podcast listening progress are kept locally; purchasing VIP does not create a cloud backup or a Sleep Island account.
After the initial consent, the production app sends usage and technical events to operate and improve the service: a randomly generated installation identifier, app and Android versions, device model, language, timestamps, feature interactions, playback and monitoring status, and summary measurements associated with those events. These records are pseudonymous, not fully anonymous. Network services can also receive your IP address. Search, catalog, podcast and playback requests are sent to our service or the relevant content provider to return what you request.
If you send feedback, we receive your message and related device diagnostics. If you explicitly choose to submit a Night Sounds correction sample, we receive the selected audio and its correction and diagnostic information. Choosing Android's share action sends the selected recording to the destination you select. Ordinary overnight recording does not automatically upload the audio.
Google Play handles checkout, payment details, subscriptions and official promotional codes under Google's policies. Our server receives the product identifier and purchase token and queries Google to verify entitlement, acknowledge purchases and handle status changes. We retain a hash of the token and normalized purchase status, product and validity information; we do not store your card details or the raw purchase token. Paid and redeemed lifetime VIP have the same Android benefits.
We use this information to deliver content and membership, diagnose problems, respond to feedback, measure feature reliability and prevent abuse. We do not sell personal information and this Android app does not include advertising SDKs. Our hosting and delivery providers process information needed to operate these services. Google and third-party podcast or audio providers process requests under their own policies. Depending on the service, processing may take place outside your country. We use HTTPS for our service requests and restrict access to service data; no system can guarantee absolute security.
Local records remain until you delete them or remove the app's data. Server records are retained as needed for support, service operation, membership verification, security and applicable obligations. Stop monitoring, turn off Night Sounds or revoke microphone permission to stop future recording. Delete recordings in the app; uninstall or clear app data to remove its local records. Contact us for access, correction or deletion of server-held information, including the installation or feedback identifier where available so we can locate it. We may retain records needed for legal obligations or to verify an existing permanent purchase. Cancelling a subscription is separate and is managed in Google Play.

Google Play 按其政策处理付款、支付信息、订阅和官方兑换码。我们的服务端接收商品标识和购买凭证，向 Google 核验会员、确认购买并处理状态变化。我们保存凭证哈希及规范化的商品、购买状态和有效期信息，不保存银行卡信息或原始购买凭证。付费和兑换获得的永久会员享有相同 Android 权益。
上述信息用于提供内容和会员、排查问题、回复反馈、了解功能可靠性和防止滥用。我们不出售个人信息，本 Android App 未集成广告 SDK。托管与内容分发服务商处理运行服务所需的信息；Google 及第三方播客或音频提供者按其各自政策处理请求。处理地点可能位于你所在国家或地区以外。我们的服务请求使用 HTTPS，并限制服务数据的访问；任何系统都无法保证绝对安全。
